DJALISHA

A recent fashion shoot with Djalisha turned out to be a great experience. She brought some amazing outfits, and we choose Eindhoven to capture the contrast between the cold street and fashion.

This was Djalisha's first time in front of the camera, and she totally nailed it. It was impressive how natural she looked and how quickly she got comfortable, even when we were shooting in the busy streets near a mall, with plenty of people around. As a teenager, she showed incredible confidence and a strong presence, effortlessly posing, and following all my tips/instructions. I was really proud of how well she handled it all. Definitely a natural in the making!

I saw that Joost was looking for models, so I responded to his story. I already knew him from our dance school, and it seemed like a fun experience to try out. I didn’t have any prior experience, but he said he needed a model for a school assignment. We arranged to meet in Eindhoven city, and we went to so many places to shoot. It was such a great and positive experience.

The first time I stood in front of the camera, it immediately felt comfortable, and everything went smoothly. I tried on a lot of different outfits, and many friendly people stopped to watch. I got some really good tips, and Joost also let me come up with ideas myself. It was truly amazing to work with Joost and feel his passion.

For this shoot we explored Eindhoven to find the best spots. We went through five different looks, taking the time to see what worked best at each location. It was a long day several hours of shooting, Djalisha stayed focused and determined, even through the cold weather and wind. Together, we pushed through and brought our concept to life, capturing some incredible shots. It was worth every bit of effort to see the final results come together!
